Terms of Use

1. Overview

These Terms of Use govern your purchase and use of AI Chat Agent software ("the Software") sold by the creator via Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record. By purchasing or using the Software, you agree to these terms.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, you receive a Regular License (or Extended License, where applicable) to use the Software on a single end product (website or application) as governed by the CodeCanyon / Envato license terms. Specifically:

• You may install and run the Software on your own server(s).
• You may modify the source code for your own use.
• You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or its source code to third parties.
• A Regular License covers one end product for which end users are not charged. An Extended License is required if end users pay to access the product.

3. Payment & Merchant of Record

All purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemonsqueezy, Inc.), acting as the Merchant of Record. Payment terms, VAT, and billing are governed by Lemon Squeezy's checkout. The product creator is not the legal seller for payment purposes.

4. Refund Policy

Because AI Chat Agent is a digital software product with source code access granted immediately upon purchase, refunds are generally not offered once the download has been accessed. Exceptions may be made at the seller's discretion in cases of:

• The Software being materially different from its description.
• A critical, reproducible defect that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to support@getagent.chat. EU consumers retain statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection law.

5. Updates & Support

The license includes access to software updates released during the support period (typically 6–12 months from purchase, as defined at the point of sale). Support is provided via email at support@getagent.chat. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Software to:

• Build products that compete directly with AI Chat Agent for resale.
• Generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal content.
• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the Software for redistribution.

7. Third-Party Services

The Software integrates with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, etc.). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and billing. The creator is not responsible for costs, availability, or policy changes of third-party AI providers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
